Honestly I dont wish bad on any merc corp because I dont hate anyone. Just seems over the past few weeks anything that yendaj has touched has fallen apart. I honestly liked yendaj and I hope the earthquake in new zealand didnt affect her but she hasnt been the same recently.
I respected you tora but ignoring me after the whores drama and forwarding everything I said to yendaj was a bit much. My corp has been craving for a fight and im sure you've heard about my corps wealth....

First of all, just because you have a good efficiency does not mean you are actually PVPing. I could kill orcas all day without dying then come on the forums bragging about my "efficiency". Maybe efficiently killing something that doesn't shoot back? Does that mean you are in the same boat as the miners? They efficiently attack the rocks while never missing. Their efficiency on evekill is 100% which is a lot higher than yours.
Secondly, your amount of kills doesn't mean jack **** if they are primarily composed of "stat boosters".
stat boosters= noob ships, mining ships, freighters, jump freighters, PVE ships
Once you take away all of the ships on your killboard that fall under "stat boosters" we can begin to discuss pvp. You see you walked into this argument with arrogance. Logically that will be your downfall.
After taking away all of the isk you destroyed that fall under "stat boosters" Marmite isn't really looking like a PVP alliance as this title suggests. When it comes down to fights I haven't seen very many that Marmite has actually won that are worth mentioning. The only evidence that suggests marmite is a pvp alliance is your 54 billion isk in losses. Yes those ships were pvp fit.
With all of this said I can now clearly restructure your quote to better fit your alliances position.

Yes our efficiency and amount killed proves that we are quite good at killing indies and mission runners but we must kill those to keep our efficiency above 50% to call ourselves a pvp alliance. After all that has been said over the last few days and the change in how Marmite pilots fly around I have to say that something like this has happened before.
A little over a year ago my corporation started a 12 month war against Ivy League(Eve University). Knowing that we were a mere fraction of their size we accepted that we could not take on their blob. Instead we decided to wage a form of guerrilla warfare on them. We would look at each players killboard and stance in the alliance. Primary targets would begin with directors, CEOS, FCs, and the wealthy. There were our targets because they were the most known and if they died their name would easily stand out to the grunts on the killboard. Hourly locators were in effect to see if they ever skipped a beat. Once they did something irregular we would track them down and kill them. Didnt matter what they were in, if the leader was paranoid to lose a ship, everyone would be paranoid.
I know Marmite isn't the same size as Ivy League or even remotely as organized but they are acting as Ivy League once did. I will try to explain in phases how Ivy League evolved over our year long war. Marmite has a lot more pressure on them so this timeline could very well be accelerated.
1st Phase: Alliance shrugs off smaller corporations and continues to think nothing will happen to them
Result- Expensive losses start to occur making people pissed. Average members start to notice that daily activities are being effected.
2nd Phase: Alliance finally recognizes the small entity by forming blobs to combat the sightings
Result- Small entity is too fast to be caught and logs off once the blob catches up. Members of blob become discouraged after a few roams. Members are starting to feel unsafe when alone. The parasites begin to leave because they no longer get to do normal daily activities.
3rd Phase: Active players that were once apart of the blobs begin to ignore the form ups. Alliance becomes divided where some want to stop the problem and others want to ignore it
Result- Smaller blobs are easily countered and get wiped out. Lots of members leave due to tension and loss of ships. People that don't want to leave go inactive. Remaining players go the cheap route. Lots of Drama!
4th Phase: Membership feels helpless and overwhelmed. Alliance goes into a dormant stage with little activity and a questionable future. Either it is to big to fail or all that remains is the original membership.
Result- Alliance fails/remains inactive
In my opinion Marmite is still in the 2nd phase. When we started to destroy 10 bil a week on Ivy League they called a retreat to Aldrat like Marmite did to Uedama. Unfortunately nobody likes to be told where to live, what to fly, how to fly, and to not die so that is where all of the drama started. Saving face is a temporary action, it cannot stop the inevitable.

In the history of Marmite, last month was Marmites worst month to date.
Monthly Stats
They lost 605 ships totaling 62 billion isk. That is a drastic increase from the month before(june) where they only lost 388 ships totaling out at 42 billion isk.
If we were to compare this months trend to June then the story would be completely different. Why compare it to June? June was a month where Marmite wasn't at war with a bunch of mercs. June was a month where Marmite could sit outside the station all day uncontested. Now lets compare this to june :)
This month (so far) - 143 bill killed per week , 14bill lost per week
Month of June- 162 bill killed per week, 9.5 bill lost per week
That statistic speaks for itself. You cannot compare this month to last month because that is when all of the wars started. I could compare relative kill numbers too..... Well I did 
An example: Last month marmite killed more ships than it ever has.
July ships killed- 8232 totaling at 747 bil
May ships killed- 7490 totaling at 1.04 trillion <<< Marmites best month ever
742 more kills than your best month but 293 mil less
Lets also be honest about Freight Club. Whoever has them in their alliance is going to have an outstanding efficiency and even better total isk destroyed. I lead Whores In Space during their trillion+ isk months. Isk destroyed does not make you good. |

The way I see it there are two sides to be on.
1. One side wants to fight because they enjoy challenging themselves. Whether it be offensive or defensive
2. The other side only wants to be the aggressor and will do everything in its power to get the #1's off its back. This way they don't have to worry about their 6.
You are wrong on your last statement considering we do as we please. We aren't in an alliance and we don't have to follow any special "good guy" guidelines. We talk to who we want to talk to and dec whenever we please. If people don't like how we carry ourselves then that is one less person in our public channel. In the end fights are UMads solution to activity.

Last night I went through a marmite gatecamp in my shuttle after switching from one shiny clone to another. On the gate they had a loki, deimos, 2 dramiels, wolf, and a drake. Solj heard of this which caused him to make his way there in a Cynabal. Once he got to Ikao he received a mail along these lines:
"You would have gotten a fight with your 3 pilots but you all are in expensive cruisers"
Don't feed me this crap that marmite doesn't have any numbers to field against us. If you are a Marmite alt then you're making things much easier for us. |

Just like the next guy I enjoy when someone fails but I also like farming kills from people that refuse to change how they play. I do appreciate the fact that Tora doesn't want to stop and I commend him for that. Hell I used to have some really good conversations with him but as we both know, after a few badly worded emails, we stopped talking. I still do wish him well as he brings content to the game. If we didnt have marmite to hunt then who would we kill? As long as he keeps recruiting that gives us more people to hunt.
Let Tora recruit but remember, if his alliance goes away then we will have to find someone else. |

I remember when RvB had a rule stating that if you lost a pod during a war in Jita then you owed the alliance 500 mil. What did we do? We introduced them to insta locking t3's in Jita! Safe to say RvB had to remove their jita rule a few days in due to a lot of losses!
Was good times had by all and come this holiday season I will be gifting my corp another week worth of RvB fun!

You say we are fearful of your fleets but yet when we are in a 3 person gang we shut down entire regions of activity for Marmites. And most importantly you speak to us as if you are equal in skill or importance.
You may kill a few ships here and there and classify them as game changing wins but lets not get ahead of ourselves. No matter how long your publicity campaign lasts it will not stop our murderboard from acquiring more Marmite losses.

Thank Sam for recording the fight. I personally think every fight should be recorded, win or lose, to document progress.
Regarding PIRAT's proteus loss. GGGGGGGGRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR OMG!!!!!!! Seriously, he had a sebo fit?!?! If every proteus had targeting range damps in their mids, instead of sebo's, your logistics at 50km would have had issues repping whoever they primary up close. So many good tactical advantages can come from range damps. But nah, PIRAT forfeited their ability to apply webs by trying to apply DRONE dps on a guardian 10mn ab'ing around an anchor 50km away. Why fit webs if you don't plan on using them? I am a fan of PIRAT's nut sack and their ability to form a proteus fleet, definitely props there, but damn. Just a little bit of ewar at the right time/place would have made this fight more interesting.
I could care less about a proteus loss, I'm just happy to see a fight happen. Keep up the brawls and ever adapting to win fights. I also encourage PIRAT to learn from this loss so next time, maybe Marmite has to retreat?
